The unassuming interior at this North Beach restaurant is reminiscent of many such places in the small towns and villages of Italy.A bunch of small tables is pushed together in one corner, a television plays Italian pop music videos in another, and rows of pastry line a deli counter in back. It feels comfortable and familiar, feelings heightened by the warm greetings and conversations exchanged between the mostly local patrons.The longtime site of Danilo Bakery was taken over a few years ago by Walter Gambaccini and his family, who recently expanded the menu to include a full lunch and dinner.
